Greg & Angela Spencer
Greg and Angela are second and third generation Midlanders. They met at Midland High and married 5 years later in 1985. They both graduated from the University of Texas in Austin in 1986. Greg is a Petroleum Engineer and started his career with Mobil Oil Company before starting an independent oil and gas exploration company. Angela owns and manages mineral interests in Texas and New Mexico. Greg and Angela have three married adult children and eight grandchildren which live in Austin and College Station, Texas. Besides frequent trips to be with their grandchildren, they spend time at their ranch in Menard, Texas and in Carmel, California. Greg and Angela have attended and served at Cornerstone/Presence Church since 1989 when they moved back to Midland. Greg’s father, Dick Spencer, was the founding Pastor of Cornerstone/Presence Church. Greg and Angela love the Lord and love His people.
Alan & Mechele Peters
They met in Houston and married in 1987, then moved to Midland in 1989. They began attending Cornerstone (Presence Church) that year. They have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. Over the years, they have served in most ministry areas at the church. They have taught Financial Peace University classes for 15 years and have served on the board of Elders for 20 years. Today they serve on the Pastoral Team at Presence Church and oversee the Children’s Ministry supporting Pastor Andy. They love spending time with their family and church family. Familia es todo!
Bill & Norma Foster
Since 1994 Bill Foster has served God in the role of Missionary, Evangelist, Pastor, Church Planter, and Bible School Instructor in more than a dozen nations on five continents. A graduate of Liberty University Theological Seminary & Graduate school (M.A.R.)
He is married to his wife Norma, has three children, and lives on the mission field in Colombia. He served as Associate Pastor at Presence Church in 2012, and as Senior Pastor from 2013-2018. He is also the President, Founder, & CEO of Frontier Gospel Mission, Inc.
Mark & Jenifer Mitchell
Mark and Jenifer met in church and were married in 1994. They are long-time Midlanders and have 4 adult children, but their favorite role is now being grandparents.
Both Mark and Jenifer are blessed with families who love God and the local church. In their youth, they were in church every moment the doors were open. This was the strong foundation that as married adults grew their own love of the church, its people and its ministries. They are business owners who love cultivating relationships with their customers, to share God’s love with those who might not ever walk into a church. They are committed to bringing people to Christ, growing the ministries and meeting the needs of the members of Presence Church.
Morgan & Evie Gandy
Evie and Morgan Gandy have been attending Presence Church for seven years. They serve as the Young Adults Pastors and are Elders over the youth and media of the church. They have over twenty years of youth ministry and associate pastor experience and are actively involved in the worship ministry as well. Evie has been serving the Lord for over 20 years and Morgan has been serving since he was saved, at the early age of ten. He was then called into the ministry at the age of nineteen. Evie has her degree in Bachelors in Latin Honors (Cultural Languages) and is the Marketing Director at The Bosworth Company. Morgan has his Masters in Instructional Curriculum and is a Development Manager at Air Compressor Solutions. They have three children, Nicholas, Natalie, and Maddox and two grandchildren. There family’s motto is “see a need fill a need”. We love seeing people changed and transformed by the power of God.
Robert & Hilda Natividad
Robert was born and raised in Midland, Texas and Hilda is from Coahuila, Mexico. They met in Midland and were married in 1995 and have raised two children Robert “Tito” and Stefani. They have been serving at Presence church since 2013 in various roles and helped start the initial Spanish service “Cafe y Pan”. They both graduated from Cornerstone School of Ministry and Leadership and are currently part of the Pastoral Team with a passion for preaching and teaching the Word of God.
Andy & Tony Perez
(Children’s Pastors)
Tony and Andy Perez are native Midlanders. They both attended Midland High. As life pulled them in separate directions they met in 2007 and have been inseparable ever since. They have their teenage son and 2 beautiful daughters who have blessed them with 3 rambunctious grandsons. Tony and Andy decided to continue to raise their children at Cornerstone/ Presence Church since 2012. This not only became home but a place where they could serve those around them. Andy answered the call to serve as Children’s pastor in June 2018 and has loved every day teaching and being blessed by the children. Both are committed to the building of a foundational relationship with Jesus Christ in every child who attends.
Demetrius & Courtney Lee
(Youth Pastors)
Demetrius and Courtney Lee are the proud parents of two beautiful girls (Kierstyn and Bailey). The Lee family has faithfully served at Presence Church since 2019. Demetrius and Courtney have a passion for the youth in our community and have recently accepted the role as Youth Pastors. The couple believes in the importance of loving God and people through selfless sacrifice of serving and discipleship. Demetrius grew up in Midland, went on to serve in the United States Air Force, and continued to serve within his community as a Police Officer and teacher/coach. He felt God calling him into ministry, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Christian ministry at Lubbock Christian University while ministering to our local youth as an Area Representative for Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
